Hello

This blog arose out of reflecting on the questions that I know many of us are grappling with: climate change, our current society and its shape, how, how, how?

As a therapist in aged-care and private practice and as a spiritual caregiver in the hospital setting there are also questions about how we do medicine and how we think about health and what is normal.

All of my questions point back to the main issue: What is it to be human at this time, as part of this society, and how can I make sense of what is happening and my part in it, and how can I create change and live in ways that feel true and respectful and connected. This blog is a sharing of my reflections. They are informed by my experiences, by the wisdom and insights of those around me, by teachers and patients and clients and the trees and the birds and love and fear.

I was born in the US and came to Australia in 1981 to be with my anthropologist mother in an aboriginal outstation in the Northern Territory. I live in Canberra, Australia.
